Bodyweight Bootcamp Classes incorporate calisthenic exercises using the weight of the body to give an amazing, calorie burning workout!
Minimal equipment is used for this class so participants learn exercises that can be used in their solo workouts at home or on the go. Bodyweight exercises are grouped into four categories; push, pull, core, and legs/glutes. Bodyweight Bootcamp utilizes variations of push ups, squats, lunges, sit ups, and more to help build strength and tone muscles by using the weight of the body to give resistance. Bodyweight exercises are ideal for a total body workout because they work several muscle groups all at once,due to the lack of isolation and the need of a large majority of muscles working together to perform movements properly. This class is taught by professional Fitness Instructors and is offered once a week in the Fitness Room.
