Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand, known for being one of the fighting styles with the most devastating striking techniques.
Also called Thai Boxing, learning Muay Thai is an essential part of becoming an all around skilled fighter. Practitioners utilize this sport for strength, conditioning, health and overall self confidence. Students will learn how to use their entire body as a weapon, combining fists, elbows, knees and shins. In addition, students will learn how to utilize stand up striking with various clinching techniques. Our Muay Thai Classes include both mental and physical conditioning, along with sparring. This class is offered twice a week in the Cage Room by Former Marine Corps Fight Team member Roger Patrizzi.
